How to Do Cleopatra Style Makeup

Create a Cleopatra-inspired look with blue, green and gold shades of makeup. Draw attention to your eyes by combining these colors with dramatic eyeliner. The emphasis on the eyes allows you to keep the cheeks and lips simple. Dark makeup around the eyes is a common feature in modern representations of Cleopatra.

Things You'll Need

• Blue, green and gold eyeshadow
• Makeup brushes
• Eyeliner
• Mascara
• Blush
• Light-colored lip gloss

Instructions

1. Apply blue eye shadow to each lid.

2. Apply green eye shadow to a brush. Spread the eye shadow just above each lid. Blend where the green meets the blue with a brush.

3. Apply gold eye shadow to a brush. Spread the eye shadow from above the eyelid to the eyebrow. Use another brush to blend where the gold meets the green.

4. Apply eyeliner. Once you reach outside the eyelid, draw a curved line extended no more than one inch from the eye. You can make the decorative or simple.

5. Apply mascara.

6. Apply brush to a blush. Dust the apples of your cheeks.

7. Apply the lip gloss to a brush and use it to line your lips. Then, fill in your lips with the brush.
