Cell phones such as Tracfones have made communication easier between family members. With the constant connection available regardless of location, many people are ditching their landline phones and opting for cell phones. But unless you have a unlimited-minutes plan, each time you talk deducts minutes. Eventually, you will need to add new airtime.

Turn your Tracfone on.

Access the main menu screen.
Step 3
Select the "Prepaid" option located under the main menu screen.
Step 4
Select "Redeem Airtime" or "Add Airtime" from the menu shown.
Step 5
Type in your airtime PIN that is located on your airtime card or receipt.
Step 6
Confirm your minutes have been added. You can confirm this by viewing the main screen on your phone. Also, you will receive a text message stating that the minutes have been added.
