  • Knife
  • Airtight jar or container
  • Olive oil
  • Wax paper

Instructions

  1. Storing Less Than Two Weeks

      Cut the roasted peppers into smaller strips.

      Place the strips of peppers into jars with lids or in small containers.

      Add olive oil to the jars. Add enough oil to cover the peppers.

      Seal the jars or containers and place them in the refrigerator.

      Remove the peppers when ready to use. Use the peppers within two weeks of storing.

    Storing Longer Than Two Weeks

      Cut the roasted peppers into smaller strips.

      Lay out a piece of wax paper. Place the strips of peppers on the wax paper. Place another sheet of wax paper on top of the peppers. If there are several peppers, create multiple layers of wax paper and peppers.

      Place the sheets of paper in a container with an airtight lid. Seal the container and place it in the freezer.

      Store the peppers until ready to use. Peppers stored in this manner should last several months.
