Palm Centro Micro SD Card Install Instructions

Increase your Centro's storage with a micro SD card.

The Palm Centro is configured to accept a micro SD expansion card. This small storage card is inserted into the Centro and provides additional storage capacity. With this additional storage capacity you can add photos, music, databases, files and other digital media to the Centro. The Centro comes with built-in applications that allow you to view photos or listen to music and gives you the option of storing this media on the micro SD expansion card. Users with high storage needs may use two or more micro SD expansion cards and change them out whenever desired.

Instructions

1. Remove the Centro's battery door by pressing in near the top of the door and sliding the door downward towards the bottom of the phone.

2. Open the expansion card slot door on the right-hand side of the phone when the screen is facing you.

3. Insert the micro SD expansion card into the card slot by holding the Centro with the screen facing you and the card with the label also facing you as you press the card into the slot until it locks into place.

4. Close the expansion card slot door.

5. Replace the Centro's battery door as you originally found it.

Tips & Warnings

• There is a notch on the micro SD card that will only allow the card to be placed in the slot in the correct position.

• The card slot on the phone is a "push-push" type of slot, which means you push the card in to insert it and then you push on the inserted card to release it to be removed.

• To browse the contents of the micro SD card, install the "Files" application from the Palm Software Installation CD which came with the Centro.
