How to Burn Flac Files to an Audio CD With Ashampoo

FLAC files burned on CD-R sound just as good as the original.

Ashampoo Burning Studio is a burning program that can burn Blu-rays, DVDs and CDs. It supports many different audio formats for CD burning, from the commonly used MP3 and WMA formats, to more obscure formats like Ogg Vorbis or even FLAC, a lossless audio format that can provide CD-quality audio. While FLAC files are much larger than other audio file formats, they can still be burned to CD the same way as any other file in Ashampoo.

Instructions

1. Start Ashampoo Burning Studio. Click on "Burn or Rip Music" then "Create an Audio CD."

2. Drag the FLAC files you want to burn to disk into the program window. Alternatively, you can click "add," select the files you want to add and then click "Add" once more to add them to the playlist. When you are finished adding songs, click "Next."

3. Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW into the disk drive and click "Write CD" to burn an audio CD with the FLAC files.
