How to Transfer TV Shows Onto an iPod
Your iPod can be used for more than listening to music; you can watch TV on it. You can purchase TV shows in iTunes and sync them to your iPod for your viewing pleasure.

Open the iTunes software and download the TV shows you would like to transfer to your iPod. Click "iTunes Store" located in the left panel of iTunes and select the tab "TV Shows" in the top panel. Alternatively, you can search for the TV show to download using the search bar at upper-right of iTunes.

Click the price of the TV show to download it to iTunes. You will be prompted to enter your user name and password to complete the download.

Connect your iPod to your computer using your USB cable to begin transferring the TV shows to your iPod. Select your iPod under "Devices" in the left panel of iTunes.

Select the "TV Shows" tab in the iTunes browser window and select "Sync TV Shows." Alternatively, you can manually select the TV shows you would like to transfer by clicking the shows.

Click "Apply" to automatically sync iTunes with your iPod. You can view the capacity bar at the bottom of iTunes to determine how much storage space you have left on your iPod.

Disconnect the iPod by ejecting it once the sync is complete. You can view the progress of the transfer at the top of iTunes before you eject it. Once the sync is complete, you will see "iPod sync is complete."

Tips & Warnings
You can only watch TV shows on the iPod and iPod classic 5th generation or later; iPod Nano 3rd generation or later, and the iPod touch.
Download the latest version of iTunes to ensure you have a successful transfer to the iPod from iTunes.
Eject the iPod from the computer before you disconnect it to ensure your data is not lost.
