How to Access Hidden Folders & Files That Are in My Computer
In Windows 7 and Vista, there are a number of system files and folders stored on your computer but hidden from view in Windows Explorer. These files and folders are hidden so you do not accidentally modify or delete them. If you are an advanced computer user or are familiar with using these hidden system components, you can allow access to hidden files and folders.

Click the "Start" menu, "Control Panel" and "Appearance and Personalization."

Click "Folder Options" to launch the Folder Options dialog box. Click the "View" tab, and then click the "Show hidden files and folders" option under "Advanced Settings."

Click "OK" to save your changes. You should now be able to see hidden files and folders.
