Instructions

    • 1

Disconnect your Samsung DLP from the electrical outlet. Unplug any components from the TV. Let the TV completely cool down for about 30 minutes before attempting to replace the lamp. Slide the TV away from the wall far enough that you can get behind it.

    • 2

Remove the screws on the lamp cover. The lamp cover is typically located in the lower-right corner of the TV's back panel. On most Samsung TVs there will be four screws holding the cover in place. Once the screws are removed, pull the lamp cover off the TV.

    • 3

Loosen the screws on the lamp assembly. The screws are attached to the lamp assembly, so they can't be removed, only loosened. Depending on your Samsung TV there will be one or two screws holding the lamp in place.

    • 4

Grab the handle on the left side of the lamp assembly and slide the lamp out of the TV.

    • 5

Slide the new lamp into the lamp compartment and tighten the retaining screws. Avoid touching the glass on the lamp assembly. Replace the lamp cover.

    • 6

Reconnect your components and plug the TV into an electrical outlet.
