How to Pair a Bluetooth Headset to a PC thumbnail
Connect your Bluetooth headset with your computer.

You can use specific Bluetooth headsets with your computer to listen to music. Windows XP Service Pack 2, Vista or Windows 7 computers have the capability to connect to Bluetooth devices. You may have a built-in Bluetooth chip in your computer that can connect to the device automatically. If your computer does not have built-in Bluetooth, you must use an adapter and install its software in order to connect.

Instructions

    • 1

Open your "Control Panel," select "Hardware and Sound" and then "Bluetooth Settings." If your computer does not have this option, then you must use a Bluetooth adapter.

    • 2

Set your headset into pairing mode by pressing and holding the "Answer" or "Call" button until an LED light comes on.

    • 3

Click "Add" and select "My device is set up and ready to be found." Click "Next."

    • 4

Choose your headset from the list of Bluetooth devices that appears on your screen and click "Next."

    • 5

Enter the headset's PIN, which is "0000," to finish connecting the headset to the computer.
