    Assembly

    • 5

Place the fabric right side down on a large table.

    • 6

Place the quilt batting in the center of the fabric.

    • 7

Place the plywood on the quilt batting.

    • 8

Pull the fabric, one side at a time, around to the back of the cardboard. Staple each side to the cardboard. Stretch the fabric taught. Remember to fold the corners so the memory board will lie flat against the wall.

    • 9

Place one piece of ribbon diagonally, from corner to corner, on the front of the board. Staple the excess ribbon to the back of the board.

    • 10

Place one piece of ribbon diagonally, from the opposite corner to corner, on the front of the board. Staple the excess ribbon to the back of the board.

    • 11

Place one piece of ribbon parallel to the first ribbon, five inches away. Wrap the excess ribbon around to the back of the board and staple in place. Repeat this step on each side of the board. When you are finished, you will see a diamond pattern.

    • 12

Screw decorative braids through each cross section of the ribbon, into the plywood.

    • 13

Attach a picture frame hanger to the back of the memory board. You can hang the memory board either vertically or horizontally.
