How to Set Ringtones on the HTC Touch Pro

Set ringtones on the HTC Touch Pro to customize your phone.

You can configure your HTC Touch Pro smart phone to make it exactly the phone you need and desire. From custom wallpapers, sounds and ringtones, you have a variety of options for creating exactly the phone you want. You can set ringtones on the HTC Touch Pro to make your cell phone ring with whatever sound you like.

Instructions

1. Touch the "Settings" icon from the Home Screen. Touch the "Sound" option with your finger or the stylus.

2. Scroll through the options to find "Ringtone" and tap it lightly with your fingertip or the stylus.

3. Select a ringtone you wish to use by tapping it lightly. Touch "Done" after selecting a ringtone.

Tips & Warnings

• Use a different sound file as a ringtone if you desire. Transfer MP3, WAV, WMA or MID files to your HTC Touch by syncing them from your computer. Place these sound files within the "My Documents" folder and then the "My Ringtones" folder. After placing the sound files into this folder, they will appear on the list of available ringtones and you can then select one as a ringtone.
