How to Align Images in Photoshop Elements 6.5

Photoshop Elements 6.5 was developed by Adobe to help you fix, modify and manage images you want to share. Aligning objects within the application takes a few clicks of your mouse. You don't have to move each object on your canvas to gauge their alignment. Thanks to the alignment tool in Photoshop Elements, you can align selected images all together, whether you're aligning objects vertically, horizontally or on the edge of your canvas.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the image you want to edit in Photoshop Elements 6.5.

    • 2

Select any images you want to align on the canvas. To select multiple objects, hold down the "CTRL" key as you click each object with your mouse.

    • 3

Make sure the "Move" tool is selected in the toolbox.

    • 4

Go to the options bar at the top of your page and select "Align."

    • 5

Pick the type of alignment you want to set from the drop-down list: "Top Edges," "Vertical Centers," "Bottom Edges," "Left Edges," "Horizontal Centers" or "Right Edges."

Tips & Warnings

  • Drag the selected images with your mouse (or use the arrow keys on your keyboard) to position the aligned images in a different location on your canvas.
