How to Upgrade an SSD in an EEE PC 900

  • Larger SSD
  • Small Phillips screwdriver
  • USB CD/DVD Drive

Instructions

    • 1

      Power the computer down, unplug it and remove the battery.

      Unscrew the panel that covers the drive and memory slot using the Phillips screwdriver. This cover has four screws and is directly below the battery.

      Unscrew the SSD and replace it with the new one.

      Replace the cover and battery.

    • 5

      Reinstall your operating system. This will require a Microsoft Windows CD and a USB CD/DVD Drive.
