How to Tether a BlackBerry and a Dell

Instructions

1. Download and install BlackBerry Desktop Software from the manufacturer's website. The program can be used for any Windows-based or Mac computer. Follow the prompts to correctly install the program.

2. Connect the BlackBerry to the computer using a USB cable when prompted. Wait for the Desktop Software program to recognize your phone.

3. Click "Tools" in the top menu, then select "Mobile Internet Settings."

4. Select your wireless service provider from the "Profile" drop-down menu and enter the settings for the connection. The settings are provided by your wireless service provider. Click "OK" to save your settings.

5. Click "Tools," then select "Start Mobile Internet."

6. Click "Connect" and wait for the connection to be established.
