Many bars serve green beer on St. Patrick's Day. You can make and enjoy green beer right at home on St. Patrick's Day, Mardi Gras or any time you feel festive. Use green food coloring to color any light-colored beer, but do not use flavored food coloring as this will change the taste of the beer. Remember to follow the rules regarding drinking age.   • Liquid green food coloring

      Pour the beer into the glass. Mix That Drink recommends tilting the glass as you pour the beer to reduce foam. Leave the top 2 inches of the glass empty.

      Add 3 to 4 drops of food coloring.

      Stir. If you want a darker green coloring, add another drop and stir. Repeat until you get the desired hue. The exact amount of food coloring needed depends on how dark the beer is.
