How to Put Any Song on the "Rock Band" Game
Rock Band, a popular video game series, allows players to simulate the performance of a real live rock band by playing with controllers shaped like actual instruments. Players can use a USB microphone to sing or choose to play lead guitar, bass guitar or drums. According to MTV, you can even go online and play with or compete against players from around the world. The game comes included with various songs you can choose to play along to, but if you are not satisfied with the songs offered you can choose additional songs you like and put them on the game by purchasing them.

Connect to the Internet through your video game console. Rock Band can be played on an Xbox 360, Playstation 3 or Wii system.

Load the Rock Band game.

Select "Marketplace" or "Get New Songs" from the Main Menu screen.

Browse through the list of available songs and find the ones you want to purchase.

Choose to "Purchase" a song. You must click to buy songs one at a time but can add as many as you want to include in your final purchase.

Go through the purchasing process and the song or songs will begin downloading. Depending on the console you use, you may have pre-purchased credits to purchase the songs with, or a credit or debit card, with which you can obtain instant credits. When you start a new game in Rock Band, you should now see the purchased songs on your playlist.
