Two signature checks for QuickBooks

When seeking a way to add two signatures to a check for use in QuickBooks, know that QuickBooks does not support a design template for vendor or payroll check in the "Layout Design Templates." In order to have two signatures on a check, you will need to order checks that are compatible with QuickBooks that contain two signature lines.

Things You'll Need

  • The next sequence number for the vendor or payroll check
  • A file copy of your company logo, if desired on check

Decide which check type from QuickBooks you would like to use. If you want to see the checks available in the QuickBooks program, choose "File," then "Printer Setup," then from the drop-down menu, choose "Checks/Paychecks." QuickBooks has Voucher style checks, which show the check in the middle, with two detail stubs on top and bottom. QuickBooks also support Standard checks, three to a page. And Manual checks, three to a page, with a tear-off stub.
