How to Set Up Tivo With Direct TV

Shut down the television, Tivo and DirecTV receiver.

Connect the coaxial cable to the DirecTV receiver's "Out" port and connect the opposite end of the cable to the Tivo's "In" port.

Connect the second coaxial cable to the Tivo's "Out" port and insert the opposite end of the cable into the television's "In" port.

Change to Channel 3 with the television's remote. To change channels, use the DirecTV receiver's remote.
