How to Pair a Plantronics Bluetooth Ear Piece to a Mobile Phone and Put in Discovery Mode
Before you can use your Plantronics headset with a compatible Bluetooth-enabled phone, you'll need to take a few moments to set it up. Setup involves pairing your headset with your phone. Pairing usually only needs to be done once--your phone and headset will remember the settings that you enter. Your Plantronics headset must be charged and within a few feet of your mobile phone to complete the pairing process. You'll also need to put the headset in discovery mode.

Open your phone's main menu and choose "Settings" or "Tools." Select "Bluetooth" and choose "On."

Press and hold the headset's call control button for approximately six to 10 seconds. Release the button when the indicator light flashes red and blue. The headset is now in discovery mode.

Select "Bluetooth" from your phone's "Settings" menu. Choose "Add New Device" or "Search." Wait for your phone to locate the headset.

Choose the name of your Plantronics headset from the list of discovered devices. Press "Pair." Enter "0000" when you are prompted for a passkey. Pairing is now complete.
