How to Sync an I/O Remote to a TV

Syncing an I/O remote to a TV is a quick process that will improve your TV viewing experience. When syncing an I/O remote to a TV, the most important thing you need to know is the proper buttons to push and when to push them as the whole process involves using the buttons on the remote.

Instructions

1. Turn the TV on that you are syncing to the I/O remote control. Press both the "TV" and "Done" button at the same time. When done right, the indicator button lights up. If the indicator button does not light up, push the "TV" and "Done" buttons down again until the indicator light is lit.

2. Find the code for your TV from the Universal Remote website. Point the remote at the TV that you are syncing to the remote, then enter the code by using the number pad on the remote. You have 20 seconds to enter the code once the indicator light comes on.

3. Press the "TV" button to store the code into the remote's memory. The "I/O" button blinks to verify the code has been saved. If the remote does not work, repeat Steps 1 through 3 using another code on the list. Continue this process until you find a working code.
