How to Take Apart an Above Ground Pool
Homeowners sometimes take apart above ground pools at the end of the swimming season. While these pools can potentially stay up for the entire year, it's recommended you take them apart and store them if temperatures in your region dip down below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Before taking apart your above ground pool, drain it completely. Once drained, you can start removing all the connecting parts to prepare it for storage. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Disconnect all hoses, pumps or filters from the pool. Most pool parts loosen from the pool if you pull them out gently or twist them.
-
2
Insert any plugs for the drain or any other opening into its valves to close off the openings.

3
Remove the legs, beams, posts, rails or any other connecting parts. Some pool connections fit tightly into each other and may only require you to pull them apart. Other pools have screws and bolts that hold the supports together. Use a wrench or screwdriver to loosen these parts and remove them. Start on one side of the pool and work toward the other to take apart the connections.
