How to Switch a Phonebook to a SIM on a BlackBerry
If your BlackBerry is designed to operate on GSM networks, it uses a SIM card to store your subscriber information. You can also store phone contacts on the SIM card--making it easy to move your address book to a new device. Storing contacts on the SIM also ensures they are backed up. You can copy existing contacts from your BlackBerry's internal memory to the SIM phone book in a few easy steps. New contacts you enter can also be saved directly to the SIM card if desired.
