How to Restore Quicken Online Backup thumbnail
Quicken allows users to create budgets and track their financial goals.

Quicken is a personal money management software product produced by Intuit. The software allows individuals to create customized budgets, and is able to track monthly spending. These tools enable users to visualize their progress as they move toward financial goals. Because Quicken manages very important data, multiple backup options are available. One of these is Online Backup. This tool saves data in a secure location on the Web, and allows Quicken users to easily restore their financial records.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the "File" list from the main Quicken view. Choose "Restore Backup File" and then select "Browse Online Backup". A new dialog window will appear.

    • 2

Choose the desired backup file from the list. The most recent backups are listed first, and backups covering the last three months are available. With a backup file selected, click "Okay". Quicken will download the saved data from the Web.

    • 3

View the restored data by clicking "File" and then choosing "Open". The newly downloaded backup file will be listed, along with other previously restored files. Select the latest backup and click "Open". The saved financial information will load. If the backup contained attached files, they will also be loaded automatically.
