Jeopardy is a favorite TV game show of millions of people, shown on TV for about three decades. The show consists of three contestants that answer trivia questions in order to win prize money. Visit the Sony Pictures website to obtain different versions of the Jeopardy online game or to a site such as Games.com or DownloadFreeGames.com where you can play Jeopardy for free or do a free trial before purchase. These range from a simple version free of charge, to a deluxe version available for purchase and download. The version you choose depends on how often you wish to play the game and the type of features you want.

Select the category you want to answer (there are six) and money value from the Jeopardy board. The categories cover a wide range of topics and each has five questions.

Answer the Jeopardy question or you can choose to pass. Passing means you won't lose money but you will possibly be behind contestants who answer the question correctly. If you answer the question wrong there will be a dollar deduction equal to the question's value to your status. If you answer the question correctly, you will earn the question's dollar amount. You usually only have five seconds to answer the question correctly.
