Jeopardy is a favorite TV game show of millions of people, shown on TV for about three decades. The show consists of three contestants that answer trivia questions in order to win prize money. For those who wish to play but can't get on the actual game show, there are other alternatives such as playing Jeopardy on your computer. While Jeopardy software can be purchased and downloaded to your computer, one of the easiest playing methods is to play the game already set up online.

      Visit the Sony Pictures website to obtain different versions of the Jeopardy online game or to a site such as Games.com or DownloadFreeGames.com where you can play Jeopardy for free or do a free trial before purchase. These range from a simple version free of charge, to a deluxe version available for purchase and download. The version you choose depends on how often you wish to play the game and the type of features you want.

      Enter your information such as your name and your avatar (also known as a visual representation of you) to start Jeopardy.

      Select the category you want to answer (there are six) and money value from the Jeopardy board. The categories cover a wide range of topics and each has five questions.

      Answer the Jeopardy question or you can choose to pass. Passing means you won't lose money but you will possibly be behind contestants who answer the question correctly.
