How to Program the Giant Universal Remote

The Giant brand universal remote, also referred to as the "Jumbo Giant," is a basic remote that has large buttons for easy viewing by those with vision problems. The Giant provides functions for controlling a wide number of different TV sets. To program the Giant, a code specific to the brand and manufacturer of the TV must be entered. The procedure is straightforward and uses the information provided in the User's Manual with the Giant, although the codes can also be found at the manufacturer's website.

Instructions

1. Press the TV's power button to turn it on.

2. Aim the front of the Giant universal remote at the TV. Press the "TV" button on the remote's keypad and hold it down until all of the keys illuminate. Release the "TV" button.

3. Enter the code for the TV, as provided from the User's Manual or taken off the company's website. The lights that have been illuminating the keys will now shut off.

4. Press the "Power" button on the Giant remote to turn off the TV.
