- Baby powder
- Box or storage bin

Inspect the interior drain cap to ensure that it is plugged and in place on the inside wall of the pool.

Open the drain valve cap on the outside pool wall. Do not worry about gushing water, as water will not run out until the hose is attached.

Screw the hose adapter that was included in your pool packaging into the female end of a garden hose. The female end has interior threads if you are unsure of which end is which.

Press the end of the hose adapter into the drain valve in the pool. This will open the interior drain cap and water will immediately begin to drain. Allow the water to drain completely and disconnect the adapter and hose.

Replace the interior drain plug and exterior cap to keep them in place for the following year.

Leave the pool to dry in the sun completely and sprinkle a layer of baby powder over it to keep the sides from sticking together.

Fold all four sides of the circle inward to create a square shape and fold the rest like a bed sheet or book.

Place the pool, along with accessories into the original box or a storage bin.

Place the box or storage bin in a dry room or closet where the temperature remains between 40 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The shed or garage is not a recommended storage place because of both uncontrolled temperatures and moisture.
