How to Open an Acer Notebook Travelmate 2201 LCI
The Acer Travelmate 2201LCI notebook computer provides a desktop-level of functionality for a modest price, making it ideal for home users and students. It includes a DVD-ROM drive, 15-inch screen, 40 GB hard drive and Intel Celeron 2.66 GHz processor. When closed, the screen is held against the main notebook body by a clasp located on the top edge of the screen.

Arrange the laptop so that the front is facing you and you will be looking at the screen when open. Push to the right the clasp release lever on the edge of the screen section.

Holding the clasp to the right, pull the screen up so that it is released from the holding clips.

Position the screen at the angle you would like to view it. You are now able to access the keyboard and power switches to turn on the laptop.
