Instructions

    • 1

Push in the small circular indentation on the hand wheel, which keeps the needle from moving while you wind the bobbin.

    • 2

Slide the thread on the dowel on top of the machine. Slide the plastic cap onto the dowel so it is snug against the spool.

    • 3

Wind the thread clockwise around the metal knob on top of the machine.

    • 4

Insert thread inside the small hole on top of the bobbin, bringing it to outside of bobbin, leaving about a 1- to 2-inch tail. Hold onto the tail while you place the bobbin on the metal spindle, then push the bobbin down and to the right.

    • 5

Hold the thread tail and step on the foot pedal to begin winding. Stop winding, cut the tail, then finish winding the bobbin until it is full or the machine stops.

    • 6

Remove the bobbin from the spindle and cut the thread connecting it to the spool.

    • 7

Press the indentation on the hand wheel, engaging the needle to sew.
