How to Make Shaved Ice

Things You'll Need

• Ice
• Ice shaver
• Bowl

Instructions

1. Freeze flavored liquids in the special trays that come with your shaved ice maker. Some ice shavers work with regular-sized ice cubes, which can reduce preparation time. You can freeze juices and flavoring syrups.

2. Put the ice into the shaved-ice maker and replace the lid.

3. Place a bowl at the base of ice maker to catch the shaved ice.

4. Turn the shaved ice maker on and press down lightly on the top to push the ice into the shaver.

5. Refill the ice maker and repeat as needed until you have the desired amount of shaved ice.
