How to Print a PowerPoint to a HP Plotter 4000
The HP Plotter 4000 is designed to print out large documents like posters, graphs and presentations. If you have one available, these can create large visual projects with ease and without the problem of trying to carry multiple, smaller posters that may be dropped or get out of order. Microsoft PowerPoint can assist you in making interesting and functional posters. Printing a PowerPoint presentation out via a HP Plotter 4000 can be quite simple and can save a lot of time and money if done properly.

Open your presentation in PowerPoint. At this point, check to see if you need to make any changes prior to printing out your presentation.

Open up the print menu. Go to "File," then "Print" on the toolbar.

Select the HP Plotter 4000 from the drop-down menu in the upper left of the print menu. If you do not see the HP Plotter 4000, it may not be connected to the computer. Connect the HP Plotter 4000 to your computer prior to continuing.

Select "Properties" on the upper right side of the print menu. This will open up another screen. If you need to, this screen will allow you to change the print direction from Portrait or Landscape. Choose the appropriate choice for the layout of your presentation.

Click the "Advanced" tab on the Properties menu. This will give you more options to fit your presentation to printer size.

Select the dimensions you need the presentation to print. you will see a drop-down menu with predefined measurements or you can go to "User Defined" and choose your own. Exit out of the Properties menu.

Click "Preview" on the print menu to check that the presentation looks the way you want to print it. If it does not appear correct, fix the dimensions by going back to the Properties menu or by changing items within your presentation.

Print your presentation. If you are currently on the Print Preview, click the "Print" button in the upper left corner. If you are on the print menu, press "OK" in the lower left corner. If you are outside of the print menu, select "File," then "Print" and press "OK" in the lower left corner.
