Hooking up your laptop to a projector.

Microscope Powerpoint allows the user to create presentations and present them on a large screen through use of a projector. Using a projector requires hooking up your desktop computer or laptop with USB cords to the projector. A laptop enables you to travel and present your presentation wherever needed, provided you have a projector on hand as well. Sometimes, a laptop computer and projector are provided for the presenter and the directions for use are different or are not provided.

Instructions

    • 1

Make sure you plug the projector into the laptop while the laptop is turned off. Your laptop should have an external port to hook the projector. Plug the projector's monitor cable into your laptop. Turn on your laptop. Turn on the projector.

    • 2

Turn on Microsoft Powerpoint and pull up your Powerpoint presentation.
