How to pair your Beats headphones to your iOS device depends on the type of headphones you have and the version of iOS that your device is running. If your iOS device is running iOS 10 or later and you have the Solo Wireless headphones then you can pair by holding your headphones next to your unlocked iOS device, pressing the "Power" button on your headphones for a second and then following the iPhone's onscreen directions for pairing. Other versions of the Beats headphones can be paired to your iOS device by pressing the "Power" button for five seconds until the light on your Beats headphones flash and then by going to "Settings" and then "Bluetooth" on your iOS device. Tap on your Beats headphones under Bluetooth devices to pair it to your iOS device.

Pair Beats Headphones with Android

You can pair your Beats headphones with most Android phones and tablets. Go through the process for how to put your Beats in pairing mode by pressing and holding the "Power" button on your Beats for five seconds until a light flashes on the headphones. Swipe down from the top on your Android device to show the Notification menu and then swipe down the Quick Settings bar at the top. Tap and hold the "Bluetooth" button to access your Android device's Bluetooth settings. Tap the "Pair new device" button and then tap on your Beats headphones under Bluetooth devices to complete the pairing process.

Pair Beats Headphones with OSX

Use your Beats headphones on your Mac computer by pairing them via a Bluetooth connection. Click the "Apple" icon in the top left corner of your screen and then click "System Preferences." Click "Bluetooth" and then click "Turn Bluetooth On." Press and hold the "Power" button on your Beats for five seconds until the light flashes. Click the Beats device listed under Bluetooth devices and then click the "Pair" button followed by "Accept" to complete the pairing process. Go to "System Preferences," click "Sound," and then select your Beats headphones under the "Output" tab to play all sounds from your Mac computer through the Beats headphones.

Pair Beats Headphones with Windows

Connecting Beats headphones on your Windows computer will enable you to use the headphones to play sound from any program on your computer. You can connect your Beats to any Windows computer with Bluetooth connectivity that is running Windows 7 or later. To begin pairing with any Windows computer, first press and hold the "Power" button on the Beats headphones for five seconds until the headphone light starts flashing. On a Windows 7 computer, click the "Start" button and then "Devices and Printers" followed by "Add a device" and then click the Beats headphones and then click "Next." Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the pairing process.

On a Windows 8.1 computer, click the "Start" button and then type Bluetooth and click "Bluetooth settings" from the displayed options. Click the "On" button next to Bluetooth, select the Beats headphones and then click "Pair." On a Windows 10 computer, click the "Action Center" button in the bottom right corner of the screen and select "Bluetooth" to turn it on. Click the "Action Center" button again and then click "Connect." Select the Beats headphones from the list of available devices and then follow the instructions on screen to pair your Beats headphones to the computer.
