Glutathione is a small protein composed of three amino acids--cysteine, glutamic acid and glycine--produced by the human body. This protein reduces the outward signs of aging, such as age spots and wrinkles. People suffering from immune-suppression, stress, lack of sleep or any chronic Illness may need more glutathione. Gather all ingredients for your glutathione cream. Place the beeswax, honey, distilled water and cocoa butter in the top of the double boiler. Use medium-low heat to melt the wax and cocoa butter. Remove from heat and add the coconut oil, witch hazel and glutathione powder. Stir until the powder is thoroughly mixed.

Pour the mixed ingredients into the clean bottle or jar immediately. Store the glutathione cream in a cool, dark area. You can use the cream on your face or the entire body as soon as it cools to the touch.

Tip

Research results suggest that sulforaphane--a component found in broccoli--increases the amount of glutathione in the body, which may reverse vascular damage due to diabetes, according to the Family and Consumer Sciences. Adding broccoli to the diet may be a natural way to increase glutathione.
