Outlook 2007 will synchronize with online email servers and download emails to your computer.

Outlook 2007 is the email, calendar, and contacts management software included in the Microsoft Office suite of programs. It will synchronize with online email servers and download the emails to your computer. There are two situations where you may get a message waiting problem. The first situation involves an error with the configuration of the Microsoft Exchange server hosting the email account. Outlook users can not fix this problem. The second situation involves Outlook being setup to work in offline mode. If your internet connection gets reset, all of your emails will be stuck on your computer until you restart Outlook.
