How to Restore Factory Defaults on Comcast DVR

You might use a Comcast DVR (digital video recorder) to record your favorite TV shows and movies. After you program in what shows you want to record, the DVR keeps track of the schedule, then records the videos for you to watch whenever you want. If your Comcast DVR doesn't seem to be working properly, such as failing to record shows when you want it to, you can restore it to the factory default settings by following a few easy steps.

Instructions

1. Turn off the power of your Comcast DVR.

2. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket, and wait at least one minute.

3. Plug the power cord into the wall socket. Turn the power back on for your Comcast DVR, which now is reset.
