If your configuration gets too complicated, or if the system doesn't seem to be working properly, you might want to reset the Cisco ASA 5505 Firewall and restore it to its factory defaults.

      Click "File" and then "Reset Device to the Factory Default Configuration" in the "Adaptive Security Device Manager" graphical interface on the computer connected to your Cisco ASA 5505 Firewall device.

      Click "OK." This restores the ASA 5505 to factory default settings.
