If you have multiple computers and want them to share a broadband Internet connection, you might have started using a Belkin G wireless router. A wireless router takes input from an Internet connection such as a cable or DSL modem, and shares this Internet connection with multiple computers in your home. If your Belkin G wireless router doesn't seem to be working properly, you can reset it. If you forget your custom password, you can reset the router and restore it to factory default settings by following a few easy steps.

      Check that your Belkin G wireless router power is cord is plugged in.

      Push and release the Belkin G wireless router's "Reset" button. The router's lights will flash briefly. Then the "Power/Ready" light will start blinking. When the "Power/Ready" light glows solidly again, the reset is finished. Use this method to only reset the router, but still retain your password.

      Press the "Reset" button on the router and hold for at least 10 seconds, then release it. The router's lights will briefly flash. Next, the "Power/Ready" light will begin blinking. When the "Power/Ready" light glows solidly again, the router will be reset to factory default settings.
