How to Format an LG 9100 Micro SD Card

Use a microSD card to add media to your LG phone.

Before you use a microSD card to add music and videos to your LG 9100, also known as the LG EnV2, the card must be formatted correctly to the phone. Once the card is formatted in the phone, you can take media files from your computer and view them on the phone. MicroSD cards makes the transferring of the files painless.

Instructions

1. Remove the SD card cover located on the right side of the phone and insert the microSD card into the phone with the writing facing up and the metal pins going in first.

2. Press "OK" to open the main menu.

3. Press "9" ("Settings and Tools"), "9" ("Memory"), and then "3" ("Card Memory").

4. Press the "Options" button to open a new menu for the card.

5. Select "Format" to conform the card to the phone.
