Alter your truck's exhaust.

You can make your truck sound like a loud high performance vehicle by spending a lot of money installing a custom catalytic converter and other equipment, but this is unnecessary. With a few cheap supplies from your local auto parts store, you can create a loud exhaust sound for a fraction of the cost right from home.

Instructions

    • 1

Buy a muffler end that has the correct diameter connector to fit over your truck's tailpipe. This can be purchased from your local auto parts store. Keep in mind that to make your truck sound loud, you need a wide exit hole on the muffler end; the wider it is the louder your truck will be.

Put the muffler end over your muffler tailpipe and hold in place by screwing down the set screws tightly.

    • 3

Drill about 12 to 15 half-inch holes with your drill through the base of the muffler on your truck. Make sure the holes are spaced out evenly. This will make your truck's exhaust sound even louder.
