How to Edit an MP3 Without Recompression
You're listening to an MP3 and you think to yourself, "I could make that a lot better." You can easily make edits to your favorite MP3 files with an audio editing program. The edits made to the MP3 can be done without recompressing the data, so the MP3 will retain the same quality it had before the edits. Once you save the edited MP3, the original MP3 will have all of the new edits. If you want to keep the original MP3, save the edited MP3 with a different name.

Edit the audio the way you want. You can trim the audio to make it shorter. Add effects such as reverb and delay to make it sound distant or big like it's in an arena. Equalize it to give the bass more boom or make the high end clearer.
