How to Download Microsoft Media Player

You can play music using Microsoft's media player.

Microsoft's marquee media player is called Windows Media Player, and it is equipped to play most audio and video files you can buy or download. Most machines come pre-loaded with Windows Media Player, but if you do not have the program, you can download the media player for free. Downloading it is a fairly easy process.

Instructions

1. Visit the Microsoft Media Center (see Resources.) Here you will find the direct download link to Microsoft's media player, Windows Media Player.

2. Click on the download link and click on "Run" from the box that appears. The program will download and the installation process will begin automatically.

3. Navigate through the installation wizard. You will go through several pages of information, read it and click "Next" to continue.

4. Click "Finish" to complete the installation process.
