Samsung's plasma HDTV sets are equipped with a port on the backside known as D-Sub for hooking up a computer CPU. The D-Sub port accommodates a 15-pin cable plug for hooking up to the CPU's video output port, typically the port used to connect a monitor to the computer. Use a standard VGA cable to connect the equipment.

Instructions

      Turn off the Samsung plasma HDTV and shut down the CPU.

      Connect the 15-pin plug on one end of the cable to the port labeled PC Input on the backside of the Samsung HDTV. Turn the two knobs on the plug to tighten the connection.

      Attach the plug on the other end to the video out port on the rear of the CPU in the same manner.

      Turn on the equipment. The CPU automatically sends the video signal out to the Samsung.
