Sync your files over Ethernet.

Ethernet is a type of network cable used to connect computers to the Internet as well as to other computers. Ethernet allows fast data transfer speeds, allowing you to sync large files in minutes. Syncing your files over Ethernet avoids the hassle of copying your files onto a USB flash drive every time you need to switch between computers.

Instructions

    • 1

Right-click on an empty space on your Desktop or right-click inside Windows Explorer and go to New>Briefcase.

    • 2

Transfer the files you wish to sync into the briefcase.

    • 3

Click the start button in the lower left corner of your desktop and open Network.

    • 4

Click on the computer you wish to sync your files to and copy and paste the briefcase over to the other computer.

    • 5

Sync your files when you are done editing them on one computer by right-clicking on the briefcase and clicking "Update All."
