How to Rent a Tank for Balloons
Balloons can add a colorful, whimsical feel to any event. They are available in a wide array of colors, designs and shapes. There are balloons to fit just about any specific need. Unfortunately, using air to fill your balloons will leave them limp and lifeless. Helium is a nontoxic gas that gives balloons life and allows them to soar off the ground. In recent years, helium tank rentals have become available to the consumer wanting to add a little color to their events. Does this Spark an idea?

Find a business in your area that offers helium tank rentals. Contact the business and inquire about the size of tanks they offer, the price of the tanks and their policy.

Determine what size helium tank you will need. Helium tanks come in a variety of sizes, but keep in mind that it takes approximately .5 cubic feet to fill one 11-inch Latex balloon.

Contact the business you want to rent the helium tank from and reserve the rental date. It is best to reserve your helium tank weeks in advance to make sure the tank will be available.

Visit the store on the day you reserved the tank. Some stores require a refundable deposit and two proofs of identificaiton. If you return the helium tank when it is due and it is in the same condition as when you left the store, your deposit should be refunded.

Secure the helium tank in your vehicle so it does not move while in transit.

Return the tank to the business you rented it from within the time frame predetermined in the rental agreement.
