Instructions

  1. Romantic Dinner Table Decor

    • 1

Cover your table with a white lace tablecloth.

    • 2

Lay a page of sheet music on your work surface. Place a dinner plate upside down on the paper and trace around it. Cut out the circle shape. Lay the circle in a plate and place a clear glass dinner plate on top of the paper, sandwiching it in between the two plates. The image of the sheet music will show through the glass plate. Repeat for each place setting needed.

    • 3

Wrap a page of sheet music around a 3 1/2-inch-diameter by 6-inch-tall pillar candle, with the excess paper at the top end of the candle. Tape the paper seam to secure. Repeat with two more sheets of music. Place the pillar candle in a 4 1/2-inch-tall clay flower pot. Tear the paper down from the top edge of the candle to hang over the edge of the pot.

    • 4

Wrap vintage costume jewelry necklaces around white cloth napkins and place in each dinner plate.

    • 5

Sprinkle rose petals and clear-glass floral pebbles over the surface of the table.

    Seaside Beach Table Decor

    • 6

Unroll a straw beach mat and place it on your dining table. If your table is large, use another beach mat and overlap them if needed.

    • 7

Lay a sheet of sandpaper under each place setting as a place mat.

    • 8

Paint the outside of two, 10-inch white taper candles with white craft glue. Sprinkle the wet glue with sand and allow to dry. Place the candles in clear glass candleholders.

    • 9

Wrap a palm frond around a white cloth napkin and secure with a straight pin. Hot glue a seashell to the palm frond. Place the napkin in a dinner plate. Repeat with each napkin for all the place settings.

    • 10

Scatter seashells and fake pearls on the surface of the table.
