  • White distilled vinegar
  • Paper towels
  • Pure deionized water

Instructions

      Soak the coffee pot and mesh filter in vinegar and let them sit for 15 to 30 minutes to remove any hard-water residues.

      Wet a paper towel with vinegar and clean the heating element, drip tray and exterior plating.

      Rinse out the coffee pot and filter. Fill the water tank with fresh vinegar. Put the filter back into position. Set the machine to the six-cup setting and run the machine with the coffee pot in place.

      Repeat step three.

      Fill the water tank with deionized water and run again to remove all the vinegar.
