How Do I Get Money Out of My Bank Account If I Have No ID?

Use your debit card.

When you opened your bank account, you most likely had to present photo identification or some other type of identification to prove your identity. You may need to withdraw money from your account without identification for a number of reasons, including being in another country or state without your identification, or your identification has been lost or stolen. There are several ways to remove money from your account without identification.

Instructions

1. Use your debit/ATM card. ATM machines require no identification. You can also pay for purchases with your debit card online or in stores. Some stores may request identification, but many do not. You can request cash back when you pay for your purchase at stores with your debit card.

2. Set up online access to your banking account. Choose a secure username and password. Use a private computer with a wired Internet connection for this purpose. Pay bills and make online purchases using your online bank account information.

3. Send yourself a money order to pick up at a location convenient for you. Pay for the purchase using your debit card. Purchase the money order online or over the phone.

4. Call your bank and ask you can fax a notarized or otherwise officially endorsed document that identifies you as the account holder. The bank may be able to compare your signature on that document with the signature they have on file. Or, fax a photo of yourself along with a notarized/endorsed document stating your identity.
