How to Connect Both Sides of Double Knitting
When you make a project on circular needles, it can be confusing when you join both sides of the knitting together. It is easy to inadvertently twist the knitting in the process of joining, resulting in a mobius strip of knitting. In order to successfully join the two sides of your needles together, it is important to ensure that the knitting will be combined into a straight line.

1
Cast on the number of stitches you require in order to complete your project onto the circular knitting needles.
-
2
Hold the needles horizontally in front of you and adjust the stitches on the needles so that they are all facing the same way. If some of the stitches are twisted, gently untwist them and continue adjusting the remaining stitches.

-
3
Watch the stitches closely to make sure that the stitches remain straight as you insert the right needle into the first stitch on the left needle.
-
4
Knit the stitch, holding the circular needles carefully to keep the remaining stitches straight.
-
5
Continue knitting the remaining stitches, holding the stitches as you knit to make sure that they do not twist. Once one round of stitches has been completed, the remaining rows will no longer twist or turn.
