How to Make an Aerial Call Shot in Bocce

This shot, similar to a call shot, allows you to knock your opponent's balls away from the jack, or knock the jack further away from your opponent's balls, with an aerial throw.

Difficulty: Easy

Instructions

1. Throw the ball so that it stops on or before the finishing half of the court. If it goes out of bounds, specify a target. You must hit your target or any ball within a 1 foot radius of your target.

2. Measure for points from the outer dimensions of the balls (not the distance between the balls).

3. Keep the ball in play if the shot was good. All the balls (and the jack, if applicable) that were moved can be left where they are. Any balls knocked out of bounds can be disqualified.

4. Disqualify the ball if it doesn't comply with the above regulations. Return all the balls (and the jack, if applicable) to their original places.
