My Logitech Webcam Won't Work With Live Messenger

Microsoft developed Windows Live Messenger so that friends, family and co-workers alike could instantly send messages with one another online. One other feature included with this program is the ability to have live chats using a webcam. When your copy of Windows Live Messenger isn't working with your Logitech webcam, you can do a few things to resolve the issue.

Instructions

1. Reinstall the Logitech webcam drivers. Insert your Logitech webcam disc into the computer and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Uninstall Windows Live Messenger. This can be done by clicking on "Programs and Features" on the Control Panel, accessible via the Start menu.

3. Reinstall Windows Live Messenger. Navigate to the Windows Live Messenger website. Download the file and open it. Follow the on-screen instructions.
